I got the lens and external flash I wanted for Christmas! Now I'm even more inspired to take better pictures!! Yay! No more trying to manipulate blur or *bokeh (a new vocab my cousin Christian taught me) haha with photoshop! Now it's all in the works of the lens! 

BANGS

Sorry.. I guess I'm really bad at blogging. Sorry for not updating this blog in a while. I've been swamped with finals and work. The hours were really busy during the Christmas season. Anyways.. here is a blog for some old news. - BANGS. bangs bangs bangs bangs bangs. I was trying so hard to grow out my bangs ... & they were actually almost up to my nose. Unfortunately, I can't stand hair in between lengths. My bangs either have to be really long or up to my eyebrows. It was neither any of those lengths, so I cut them. I like bangs. I like them even thought I can get so frustrated with them sometimes. I hate them at the beach, because they soak up moisture and curl & frizz up. I hate them, because they make my face look round and fuller than it already is. I hate them, because they put an uncomfortable weight on my forehead that makes my eyes feel all heavy. In spite of all this ... my love for them strangely outweighs the hate. Bangs are cute. They give you a playful look that separates you from everyone else's "un-banged," "normal" & parted hair. Bangs give you an edge when you feel a little boring and redundant. It reaches out to you and pulls you away from this "corporate" looking hair. haha

Closet full of clothes, nothing to wear.

Monday night is my Friday night ... and I'm here in bed browsing through Chictopia.com .. Gosh there are so many fashionable people on that website. *sigghhh... Ugh.. Finals week is coming up.. and I just don't want to think about it. Tomorrow I think I'll go Christmas shopping at Pasadena. I also need to get my oil change and do some laundry!! I'm so sleepy right now.. I don't even know why I'm on this thing! Anyways, here are a few looks I admired on Chictopia.com. 

Wish list

Ok, so Lorenz requested that I make a wish list. Here you go Hun. Some of the items on here I already put down for my Secret Santa. (Every Christmas my family & I traditionally participate in a Secret Santa drawing though Elfster.com. That way we don't have to get ever-ree-one of my relatives a gift; hence saving $$$$. Instead we play a game & opt for a limit of $100 minimum.) Anyways... here's my wish list dedicated to Lorenz & Secret Santa.

2. This cuuuuuute, medium sized, glitter heart bag from Topshop.com *__*  (make sure you go to the U.S.A version) It makes a serious outfit a little more playful!!! ^____^ PS: sorry for this small, crappy image. Top Shop wouldn't let me save the big one. =( 

3. Polaroid - lots & lots of polaroid. Isn't it suppose to be R.I.P - ing this year?? TT.TT so long old friend. I love you dearly.

C.) Jeffrey Campbell Lace Up Bootie - so I can wear them with skinny jeans or leggings. I'm extremely short, so these 3.75 inch heels will compliment my height. haha Gosh, I just need to diet & exercise so I can tone up my legs! TT.TT I'm so jealous of long, super model legs. =( 

D.) Patterned Cape - I really like this .. or something like this to keep me warm and comfortable. I can just imagine being wrapped in this while sipping hot chocolate. TT.TT *sighhhh...

6.) Lil Angel Perfume - I think I like this scent the best out of all of the Harajuku ones. 

Shiki No Uta

I absolutely love how "Cowboy Bebop" & "Samurai Champloo" present their stories in a mixture of hip hop and jazz. I was going through some of my old CDs the other day and I ran into "The Real Folk Blues" and "Shiki No Uta." Listening to those songs kind of took me back to high school when those animes were popular with some of my friends. I found this youtube video of a cover of "Shiki No Uta" from "Samurai Champloo." This is such a good cover!!! The guy plays the guitar really well .. & the girl sounds great in Japanese. I'm impressed how the girl followed the Japanese really well.. especially with Minmi's (the original singer) fast "sing-song" style.

Expensive shit I want, but can't afford.

1. Classic Chanel Flap bag in Jumbo Caviar. Ugh! I really want this bag.. but unfortunately this bag cost over $2000. ... & I really, really, REALLY don't understand that! I can buy an entirely new wardrobe for that much money!

2. Lenses . lots & lots of lenses for my camera. 

3. Miu Miu Vitello Lux Satchel. ... cheaper than Chanel ....but still freakin expensive!

4. Dauphine Velvet Headboard + a new comfortable bed (preferably my ate Arlene's bed.. & if you are reading this.. can you just buy a new bed and give me your bed? What a wonderful Christmas present thanks!)
