heart bokeh

I was having a really crappy Tuesday until Lorenz surprised me afterwork. I was feeling very ill ~ mixed with some really crappy allergies ~ and yet I still managed to go to school and work. Up to now my allergies haven't gone away. My eyes feel all swollen, my throat is congested, and my nose wont stop running. ARGH. Anyways, Lorenz surprised me with some food from Trader Joe's and some poster paper to help me construct my heart bokeh project. It worked really well .. so here are some test shots we took about an hour ago. Very blurry photos... but I love them! I was so excited when I saw the hearts!

i want to give you my heart

I'm going to make this. I'm so in love with bokeh.... and heart bokeh couldn't be any more adorable! I've seen so many pictures of heart bokeh, but I assumed they were always photoshopped. I had no idea it was possible to make heart bokeh with just a cut of paper placed on a lens. I'll try to attempt this the best I can and experiment with photos soon. <3

royal tea

I visited Royal-T for the second time yesterday. I had to go back for their Kobe Beef Burger and Royal-T Milk Tea. This time I ordered the High Tea set, because it looked very appealing in pictures. However, I was a little disappointed when I got it, because it was a lot smaller than I expected. The brownies and orderves were very yummy though! & the Royal-T Milk Tea can never let me down! I love it with brown sugar cubes! I visited the mini store at Royal-T and even bough myself a small pack of Royal-T Milk Tea. I just have to brew it with soy milk and then.. VOILA .. I have delicious Royal-T Milk Tea at home! I have to stop by the market to find some brown sugar cubes though. Where can I buy some of those?? Trader Joes?

Oh yea.. and btw .. isn't that box so cool?? (the pic on the right with purple lights) It looks like it's going down forever .. but it's just an illusion the glass and mirror gives out. The length of that box is only like 6 inches!

floating

One morning Lorenz and I were having breakfast at Coffee Cup Cafe in San Diego. We ate, laughed, and spontaneously decided to go parasailing. It wasn't a thrill ride like bungee jumping or sky dying .... but more of a relaxing and soothing experience. Lol .. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the sunburn and the motion sickness from the speed boat. I loved being high up there. I wish someone could've just cut the rope and let us float away in the sky.

pancakes & eggs

Today I got to sleep in! I usually get up around 6 AM to get ready for school. I love the feeling of being bunched up in my blanket ~ knowing that I don't have to get up for another couple of hours. It makes the moment even more special when it's still dim outside. Anyways~ I was craving pancakes this morning, so I decided to make some. I'm so picky with my pancakes. I like them thin, golden, and crispy on the edges. Yummy! I also fried some eggs, because my dad wanted some. haha

I never noticed how cute this couple was until my friend Minna posted this picture.
